Add an Icon

We have created several icons you can use for your courses. These are small ready-made images for module numbers, assignments, discussions, content, reading, and so on. To add them to your page:

1.) Click EDIT to edit the page

2.) Locate the ICON MAKER icon or click INSERT --> ICON MAKER ICONS --> SAVED ICON MAKER ICONS

- A pop-up will display to the right of your screen.
- Remember to click the Submit button after you have made your selection.
- Make sure you keep copyright in mind.
- The image will show up wherever your cursor is.

Add an Image

Decorative 1.) Click EDIT to edit the page

2.) Locate the image icon or click INSERT-->IMAGE.

- Select one of the options:
  - Upload Course Images: There are many images already added to this Canvas template. To encourage consistency, select one of the images that already exist in your Course Images folder. These images are designed to let you easily add course name and other information without having to edit an image. Just replace the generic text like [Course Information Here] on the homepage you select.
  - You can browse all the materials provided in the "CCB Branded Materials" file folder (main navigation FILES).
  - Upload Image: This allows you to upload an image from your computer. Be wary of using many different images, as it can affect look and feel, and multiple uploads will make each course copy expand messily.
- A pop-up will display to the right of your screen.
- Remember to click the Submit button after you have made your selection.
- Make sure you keep copyright in mind.
- The image will show up wherever your cursor is.
